Head of Year

Job Type: 37 hours per week x 40 weeks per year - Permanent

Salary/Grade: Salary calculated in line with NJC pay scale Grade F, points 22 - 25, £33,699 - £36,363 per annum (£29,895 - £32,533 per annum pro-rated).

Job Start Date: September 2026

We are looking for a Head of Year to join our staff team at Stoke Damerel Community College and Scott Medical and Healthcare College Campus. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the campus and further contribute to the life chances of young people in the school and across the Trust. The Head of Year will provide pastoral and welfare support and guidance within the specified year group. Working with students to maximise their achievements and attainment across the college. They must be able to establish excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and work well within a team.
