Salary/Grade: Grade C
Job Type: Permanent, term time only
Position: 27.50 hours per week TA, plus after school childcare teaching assistant (minimum 5 hrs/week).
Job Start Date: Monday 1st June

We are looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is passionate about working with children to develop their skills, independence, self-confidence and social interaction;
- Has experience in working with children in schools and the ability to work flexibly and creatively as a member of a team;
- Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills,enabling them to support class teachers in the delivery of the curriculum and in delivering targeted interventions and pastoral support;
- Has high expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour in the classroom and the ability to promote safe active play opportunities in the playground environment;
- Will work together with other school staff and the wider community to ensure that our Church school vision is translated into action;
- Has a strong commitment to: inclusion; safeguarding; equal opportunities; anti-discriminatory practice; data protection and the values and ethos of the school.
