Mealtime Assistant

Salary: NJC A3 £25,614 FTE

Hours: 5hpw (Mon-Fri)

Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2027

First Federation Trust are looking to appoint a Mealtime Assistant for Whitchurch Primary School.

The successful candidate will primarily support a child with SEND during mealtimes, whilst also contributing to the positive lunchtime experience and supervision of other pupils across the school.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who:

• Will be responsible for a safe and calm dining experience.
• Will be able to build a rapport with children.
• Will be able to support children during their lunchtime provision both in the dining room and on the playground.
• Will be able to liaise both written and verbally with other school staff.
• Will be physically able to lift and move tables and chairs as part of the setup and clear-down for lunchtime.
