Lower KS2 Teacher

Contract: Fixed Term for one year

Salary: MPS1-6

We require an excellent and inspirational teacher to join our dedicated staff in the Autumn Term 2026, to teach in Lower KS2.

The successful candidate will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
• Set clear, ambitious targets based on pupils’ prior attainment
• Provide a high quality, inclusive education for all learners
• Have a clear understanding of assessment for learning
• Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing all children with the opportunity to succeed through the delivery of an engaging curriculum
• Be sympathetic with our Christian ethos and able to live out our strong Christian vision through their work in school
• Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and data protection Have high expectations of behaviour and a commitment for excellence in teaching, learning and assessment
• Have strong inter-personal skills to establish positive relationships within the school community and be an excellent team player

Person specification:

Essential

• Have experience teaching in Key Stage Two
• Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and a passion for learning
• Have secure knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Have strong behaviour management skills, using a positive approach
• Are committed to inclusion and removing barriers to achievemen
• Highly effective in the planning, teaching and assessment of all lesson
• Able to maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parent
• Rigorous in ensuring all pupils make good progress
• The ability to join a team and contribute to whole school development
• A good understanding of safeguarding

Desirable

• A proven track record of raising standard
• The ability to lead a subject throughout the school
• Practising Christian
