Job Description
Contract: Fixed Term for one year
Salary: MPS1-6
We require an excellent and inspirational teacher to join our dedicated staff in the Autumn Term 2026, to teach in Lower KS2.
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum
- Set clear, ambitious targets based on pupils’ prior attainment
- Provide a high quality, inclusive education for all learners
- Have a clear understanding of assessment for learning
- Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing all children with the opportunity to succeed through the delivery of an engaging curriculum
- Be sympathetic with our Christian ethos and able to live out our strong Christian vision through their work in school
- Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and data protection Have high expectations of behaviour and a commitment for excellence in teaching, learning and assessment
- Have strong inter-personal skills to establish positive relationships within the school community and be an excellent team player

Person specification:
Essential
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage Two
- Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and a passion for learning
- Have secure knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Have strong behaviour management skills, using a positive approach
- Are committed to inclusion and removing barriers to achievemen
- Highly effective in the planning, teaching and assessment of all lesson
- Able to maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parent
- Rigorous in ensuring all pupils make good progress
- The ability to join a team and contribute to whole school development
- A good understanding of safeguarding
Desirable
- A proven track record of raising standard
- The ability to lead a subject throughout the school
- Practising Christian
