Eggbuckland Vale Primary School, part of Connect Academy Trust, is looking to appoint a highly motivated, outstanding primary practitioner for April/May 2026. Eggbuckland Vale is a happy and inclusive two-form entry school in Plymouth with a very popular onsite nurseryand a specialist provision for children who are deaf. Ofsted judged the school as Outstanding in all areas in January 2025.

We are looking for a class teacher who:

• has teaching experience in Key Stage 2
• has high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour.
• can work effectively as part of a team.
• is flexible, resilient and adapts quickly to change.
• has the resolve and enthusiasm to make a real difference to the lives of pupils.
• has a commitment to nurturing and valuing pupils.
• has experience of teaching children with additional needs.
• understands the importance of working in partnership with parents and carers.
• has a thorough understanding and commitment to safeguarding all members of the school community.
