We are seeking a dynamic, inspirational and values-driven Executive Headteacher to lead our two distinctive schools in the heart of Plymouth. This leadership position is ideal for an experienced Headteacher ready to extend their impact. You will lead across two complementary schools: Stoke Damerel Community College, a vibrant 11 - 18 comprehensive, and Scott Medical and Healthcare College, a specialist 14 - 19 studio school. We are unapologetically ambitious. Your focus will be to build on recent improvements and drive both schools into the top 1% nationally for student progress.
As Executive Headteacher, you will:
- Set the strategic direction: Shape and deliver a clear vision where every student benefits from consistently excellent teaching.
- Build a unified culture: Champion a community rooted in hard work, kindness and high expectations.
- Lead through collaboration: Work closely with the Trust Executive team and Education Director to accelerate school improvement.
- Use your professional judgement: Apply our “adopt, adapt or advance” approach to make the best decisions for your schools, supported by strong central Trust services.
You will be a visionary and principled leader with a strong track record of success at senior level.
